therapy sketch sessions for only pennies per month

This is a sketch I did for a piece of character development work for an OEM book. I based it on Laura's neice, Annie. I thought it was cute so I coloured it up a little. It's kinda cute I thought. So here's the pencil and the colour.
Sweet drawing! I like the pose and motion blurry snow. All I can see happening is a giant Don Hertzfeldt like snow flake slamming into her. 'My lip is bleeding'! Can you tell I haven't had much sleep?! Oh yeah, don't forget the Gorillaz playing in the background. (as in the band but you know the other kind are cool too!) Power to the Simians!
A kids book, Margret? I've had it in mind for a while. Actually there's a writer from London ON who wants to do one, but I haven't had a block free in my schedule yet. I could add it to my sketch a day and do it that way....hmmmm.
As for my own ideas...I have one. It's kind of fun, but I don't know how well it would work.

beautiful and nostalgic. the colour adds so much. time to do your own children's book, john. for sure.
The snow is just a large brush in PS set to 30% opacity and then just dab the white on, it works purdy well.
Glad yiz like it!
