puppet designs


Tthese are sketches i did trying to design some simple puppets for an upcoming gig with the Windsor Symphony. The story is "Fiddle Red".

i've just checked their website, it looks great! i hope they come to our neck of the woods.we've done puppets with the symphony over the years, but never a full length thing. this particular gig is a short piece for young children with a quintet. it'll be fun. if i can get my act together an start actually making the puppets. jeff'll have to help. sorry, jeff...

Yeah, those guys are great. Peter, the guy whose company it is is Laura's cousin. He's a great guy, great actor and is a fantastic story teller.

If you ever wanna just trade ideas, or talk to him one on one about what he does, let me know and I'll get you in touch.

awesome, would love to meet him. there's never enough people to bounce ideas off of, and who'd understand...
i mostly gave up performing, too taxing for me ( i have um...anxiety) but matt still loves performimg and is so darn good at it, and i love to design sets and puppets and props, so it all works out.
