Cool! We only started seeing Little Egrets in Ireland recently - as a result of them migrating up from Africa. I see one when I'm out for my lunchtime walk. We have Grey Herons here - we have one that used to feed in the large ornamental pond beside my office. I named him Frank (because their call is described elsewhere as a harsh "FRAANK!"). He provided great entertainment one day having a stand-off with a cat. Think the guys who look after the business park scared him off 'cos he kept eating their fish - it was their fault in the first place for providing a fast food outlet.
